Rocky Mountain Voices Podcast

I have begun working on another multi-touch table, this time for the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center in Pleasant Grove, Utah. It will be be an awesome addition to the DSS Magellan. I will be posting more on that later. Until then, I have some great new video to post. Rocky Mountain Voices' Brad Baldwin interviewed me and make a great video podcast about my project. It is very well done, and I would like to say thank you to Rocky Mountain Voices! Here is the video:

That is very cool, good work. You mentioned voice recognition as an alternative to using a keyboard, It would be pretty funny to see that in action in a software company. Everyone would be talking for hours on end 'speaking' code, instead of clacking away at keyboards... might have to sound proof the cubicles!!

but what about a visual way to code; you could just touch blocks and arrange code pieces to create software. eliminating keyboard based carpel tunnel syndrome once and for all!

Good for you, man! It's good to see such innovation with multitouch, and it's cool to see people succeed so much with it.

Great work dude, just read the article on ars technica and I'm really impressed by your approach. Just need to get you over to Apple now and push things along a bit over there!

I just finished reading about your project on the Ars-Technica site. VERY cool! Please don't let the jaded cynics get you down -- I thought you not only showed a lot of innovation & technical skill, but also a lot of perserverence. Congratulations!

although it's very good, i don't ever see anything like this replacing a keyboard or even a mouse entirely. you mentioned using a virtual keyboard.. why clutter up your screen and deal with the (albiet small) delay of the camera and open touch and just use a real one? :)
